I’ve got a trade login for the Wind Designs website but can’t remember my details. What do I do next?

How do I place an order?

Please create an account under the Log in section and we will authorise you within 24hours, if you already have an account simply Log In and start shopping. The new site now has the ability to save orders and review order history.
Is there a minimum order value?
For your first order there is a minimum order value of £150 net. There is no minimum order value for orders thereafter.
What if some of the items I ordered are out of stock?
If any item is out of stock it is placed on back order for you and you will be contacted when it is back in stock. No back orders are shipped until they have been confirmed. Delivery is not charged when sending back ordered items.
When will my order be delivered?
If you place your order before 1pm we make every effort to despatch it the same day for next day delivery (UK mainland only, shipping to Northern Ireland, Ireland, Channel Islands and Outer Islands of Scotland delivery will be longer).
How is my order being delivered?
Most orders over 1kg & over A3 in size will be shipped via DPD or UPS on their standard 24hr delivery service. Orders under this size and weight will usually be sent via Royal Mail recorded post.
How much will delivery cost?
UK (excluding N. Ireland):
• Shipping is free of charge for orders over £250 (net value).
• Orders under £250 (net value) will incure a delivery cost charged at £7.95 (exc. VAT) per box.
• Orders sent via Royal Mail post will be charged at cost plus a handling and packing fee as appropriate.
N. Ireland: Shipping is via the DPD 48hr Delivery Service and charged at £15.00 (exc. VAT) per box.
Europe: Delivery is charged at cost. Delivery time is dependant on area.
Third Party Deliveries (UK Only):
Although we prefer not to ship direct to retailer’s customers, it is still possible under the following conditions;
• Any product over 1 kg in weight, and over A3 in size will be shipped by DPD or UPS, and will be charged at £15.00 per box up to 30kg.
• Items sent via post will be sent via Royal Mail Recorded Delivery and will incur a minimum charge of £3.00, and up to £7.95 on larger items depending on weight and size.
All goods sent to third parties remain the responsibility of the retailer, and the retailer remains responsible for any loss or damage.
How do I pay for my order?
Existing customers with an approved credit limit:
Our credit terms are net 30 days from the invoice date. If you are unsure if you have a credit account or need to confirm the credit limit you have, please contact us on 0844 257 1180 and we will confirm this for you.
Existing customers with no credit facilities (proforma accounts):
Payment must be made for any goods before they are despatched. Payment can be made via credit/debit card, cheque made payable to ‘Wind Designs Ltd’ or via BACS transfer. Please contact us for up to date bank details on 0844 257 1180
If you would like to apply for a credit account please contact our accounts department on 0844 257 1180. (All trade customers are required to sign a copy of the Trade Application/Terms & Conditions form, before any credit account can be opened.)
New customers/First Orders:
All new trading accounts/first orders will be on a proforma basis and payment must be received before any goods are despatched. (A credit account can be applied for once a good trading history has been established (at least 3 orders) please contact our accounts department on 0844 257 1180).
How do I return a product which is faulty?
All products distributed by Wind Designs Ltd are 100% guaranteed against faulty workmanship and manufacturing. If an item needs to be returned as a result of a fault, authorisation must be gained from Wind Designs for the return, and the Retailer given a returns reference number.
Please call us on 0844 257 1180 to book in a return prior to sending.
Any items returned without a returns reference number may be returned to the retailer or a delay in processing may result. Wind Designs Ltd reserves the right to replace, repair or credit any faulty item as it chooses. Your statutory rights not affected.
